The long-awaited second stimulus payments are starting to be sent out by the US Treasury this week, despite the final amount ($600 vs. $2000) being debated in the Senate.
Later this week, The US Treasury and IRS will re-launch the Get My Payment web app where filers can enter bank account information and check the status of their payment to get their money quickly! The Treasury has already begun issuing stimulus payments to tax filers who have filed returns for both 2018 and 2019. We recommend utilizing the direct deposit option. More information regarding stimulus payments can be found on the IRS website.
Stimulus Processing for Rapidly Taxpayers
If you are a taxpayer that previously used the Cash Out by Rapidly program for tax year 2018 or 2019, all deposits will be passed along to the account number we have on file.
You can update your account and routing number for any payouts received in your Rapidly Profile under Billing then click Add Account Info and follow the instructions. That account number will be where our payment processor will deposit any deposits received from the Treasury on your behalf.
